NO CONTEST YESTERDAY BUT I ASKED YOU TO SEND ME 3 REASONS YOU LOVE TO SKATE, 3 THINGS YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY AND 3 WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP OTHERS RIGHT NOW!
REASONS WHY I LOVE TO SKATE:
It’s a way that I have found to be able to truly express myself.
It is something I have found to get away from other difficult things happening in my life and to be able to learn life long lessons from.
It gave me the chance to meet so many amazing people that I know I will be friends with for the rest of my life.
I love the feeling when I master a new element.
Skating, especially to music, makes me feel happy.
Skating is how I express myself. It is my outlet to let out my anger or stress. It makes me feel calm.
Because I love how you can jump, spin, and glide across the ice
I love how when you skate faster you can feel the wind on your face
I love how it’s just like dancing and you can dance across the ice in a program
I love to skate because it gives me a break from the stress in my life. When I have a bad day, or something in school is bothering me, skating can help me relax and focus,
I love to skate because of the community. We are very supportive of each other, and just being at the rink is fun.
I love to skate because I just love the sport. I like to push myself to improve my skating and getting better gives me something to focus on.
It makes me feel free
I love jumping
Let me push myself
I love to watch the athleticism and artistry of figure skating.
I love to encourage skaters and help them to improve.
I love to escape the heat in the summer by being in the ice rink.
Saphie N: Why I love to skate...
THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
The health of myself and everyone else in my life right now.
My family.
The opportunities I have been able to get in the past few years from skating.
My health and the health of my family.
I am also grateful to have food when so many others do not.
Most importantly, I am thankful to everyone who is doing the right thing and staying at home during these hard times.
I have a sister to keep me company
I have a big driveway so I can practice on my roller blades
Everyone I know is safe at home no one is sick
I am grateful for good health. No one in my family has been infected by the coronavirus, and we are very fortunate.
I am grateful for my friends. Everyone has been doing their best to stay connected, and I am grateful for the support and kindness that has been going around.
I am grateful for the internet. Social media has helped everyone stay connected, and the internet has helped me with online learning, even if I don't like it. :)
